this is a line from the movie, "Win a Date with Tad Hamilton:"

the bartender was talking to this guy who had just lost the love of his life. she asked him: "is it love, big love, or great love?" the guy gave her a confused look (well, who wouldn’t?). then, here comes the great explanation on such a profound question.

"Love, you’ll forget in a few months. Big love in a few years. But great love changes your life forever."

I don’t know if it’s just me or the statement is really that amazing because that line came to me like an LSS, it keeps repeating in my mind. Repeating again and again (redundance intended to get the description across). Embarassingly, i also keep sharing it with people I know. See, i’m even blogging it now.

The last line about great love struck me. I always had great love(s) and great heartaches and great changes (sniff, sniff). I wonder if it’s a blessing or a curse, but right now, it’s leaning more on the curse side. Great love changes your life forever and mine has suffered from several eternal transformations that I think, this thing called great love controls it already. I am trying to regain my life back but success has always been beyond my grasp (I don’t have long arms to start with though). This great love is pulling towards itself like gravity, like magnet. I can’t seem to resist the prospect of happiness it offers even if the stakes are high.

Sabi nga ni Jennifer at Ninong Al (Sa Piling Mo folks. c’mon, it’s jologs but it’s a quality soap.), "dapat ipinupusta lahat sa pag-ibig dahil minsan ka lang iibig." But in my case, minsan is an understatement. So with lahat.

My lovelife is like GMA’s grand infrastructure projects in her SONA. It promises great rewards but you kinda know, it’s going to fail anyway. But I keep believing in my great love. I don’t believe in GMA.
