so long suckers!
everyone’s talking about graduation and it sucks!
BIGGEST NEWS in my two-decade existence: I AM NOT GRADUATING ON TIME!
big deal?! it is actually, especially when almost all the people in your batch are graduating, even the stupidest ones. some are even honor students. so what does that say about the persona of those who have failed to make it on the list? like me for instance.
i really feel sore about graduation stuff and everything related to it. i’m just bitter. i know, i know. the more depressing thing is, people don’t go beyond that fact. the discourse is merely reduced to: you’re graduating or you’re NOT.
it doesn’t matter if you only graduated because you have chosen all the easy subjects with “ruler” professors who shower unos like rain in june. people don’t ask if you even learn anything during those four years, if that college experience has enriched your life, improved your insights on society, and made you a better person useful to the world. those things don’t matter at all.
because everyone’s just talking about graduation and it sucks. the diplomas received on time won’t buy a great future. it’s everything one learned and the person that one has become that will matter most. no amount of diploma or unos in classcards can accurately measure that.
so long suckers!
